Diana, I have a 13 year old who has ridden in the past(as a younger girl!) and it’s been several years. She is homeschooled, we are new to the area and she is really interested in getting back into riding. We do NOT have our own horse. I am wondering if you have a spot available for lessons at this time and if not perhaps the fall?
    Thank you so much,
    Kathy McDowell

Diana, I am so sorry, I did not get back on the message board! We moved here in April, worked very hard to finish up a late start homeschool year because we had missed time while moving too and time has slipped on by. My daughter asked me if I had ever spoken with you when I realized I had not even gotten back on the message board. My apologies. She is still as interested as ever and I would really like to meet with you and bring her out to see your place whenever it is convienient for you. Since we homeschool it could be during the week, during the day with the exception of Tues or Thursday morning next week. I will call on Monday at the number you have posted above and see if you have any time to meet with us. Thank you so much.

Diana, I’ve got a horse that I’ve been working on to start her on jumping. She’s doing well, but I don’t have an arena to work in at my place, so it’s kindof like doing cross country, haha. I was wondering if you would be able to work with the both of us. I’ve been riding for years, and have been to shows and won- just looking to start some real work with my horse. Thanks!

Hello! I just moved to Fort Leonardwood and will be here for the next few months. I’d like to take up riding again. I rode for about 15 years and had to stop due to other full time commitments. I haven’t ridden in 2 years now and would really like to pick it back up. Would it be possible to come once or twice a week (on weekends) for lessons? Thank you!

    Hi,
I’m interested in more information about horse lessons. My daughter is 7.5 and very interested in riding. She has been riding a couple of times before but we are looking for something more regular. What type of lessons would you offer for her age? How often would they be and what would a monthly price be?
Thank you and have a great week.
    Andrea

    Good morning,

I plan on giving you a call sometime this week. I am new to the area and only a month ago sold my mare due to the move. I am definitely missing being around horses 24/7 and looking for a barn to be able to start riding or even working. I have a bachelor of science in animal and veterinary sciences and have 14 years of experience with horses from training babies to being an exercise rider to competing. I have experience in both the hunter, western, and eventing worlds. Thanks for your time and I look forward to speaking with you on the phone and/or in person.

    Thank you,
    Lillie
